Tonino Vitale lives in Italy with his Labrador puppy Dylan, whom he adores. Dylan lived a long life at the age of thirteen. Unfortunately, the passage of time has left its mark on his body. When Vitale noticed that Dylan was losing energy, he took him to the vet. There, Dylan was diagnosed with arthritis.
Arthritis is a joint disease that is unfortunately quite common in older dogs. Arthritis causes pain and discomfort in one or more joints, as well as stiffness and difficulty moving.
Dylan’s diagnosis served as a stern reminder to Vitale that the cute puppy won’t live forever. Vitale made the decision to take Dylan on a special walk every day to make his remaining time on Earth as happy as possible.
Dylan’s arthritis made it too painful and exhausting to go on long walks alone, but Vitale had a plan: fresh air and breathtaking scenery. Shortly after Vitale started taking Dylan on his daily “walk”, he noticed that the older dog was more attentive and happy.
Vitale’s love and devotion to his dog did not go unnoticed, and once one of his neighbors managed to capture a cute couple on video.
