A cat stole dog food and finally met his mistress after long years of separation

It turned out that he broke into a woman’s garage and stole dog food from there.

Survival in the wild is especially difficult for animals accustomed to home life. However, one giant cat, previously homemade, and now street, not only survived, but also managed to maintain his weight at the level of 9 kilograms.

In 2007, he became an Internet sensation.

It turned out that he entered the female garage and stole dog food from there. And, apparently, he did this for all six months of being without an owner.

Finally, he was caught. He was found stuck in a dog hole through which he dragged food. The owner of the house called the humanitarian organization to pull it out of the pit and deliver it to the shelter.

On the left 9-kilogram Goliath, and on the right, the kitten is much larger than the average size.

Barbara, the director of the humanitarian organization that saved the cat, noted that such heavy cats do not come across every day. It is not known why, but this story became a sensation in Portland.

The owner of Goliath that evening saw this story in the news and immediately recognized his cat. The next day, he appeared in a shelter with a photograph proving that the cat belongs to him.

When the owner arrived, employees of the organization found out that the real name is Cat Hercules. They also found out how he turned out to be homeless.

Six months ago, the owner of the cat went to Canada for a serious operation. During this time, Hercules escaped from the nurse, who looked after him at home.

In the end, these two reunited, and Goliath did not have to steal food.
