Seals like Yulelog live at a marine park in England before they were released back into their natural habitat. He is used to receiving sweets from others after spending so much time in prison.
Yulelogs was rescued by the RSPCA three months after his release after concerned people complained that he followed them as he thought they had fish.
It was adopted by the Cornish seal sanctuary and lived happily ever after. Male gray seals typically live to be 25 in the wild, but Yulelog had its 31st birthday. To celebrate this event, the sanctuary gave him an ice cake stuffed with fish.
Yulelogs was delighted with his birthday cake. It’s like a puzzle for him, because it takes some thinking to figure out how to get the fish out of the pie. Yulelog’s birthday pleased not only himself but also his carers.
